She thanks Leena for the incredible opportunity to perform this important piece of theater, and her husband, Eric, for being the very best of men. Maria dedicates this show to her daughter, Ellie, who gives her so much hope that the future will, indeed, be female.”

Langdon James (Legionnaire) he/him is an actor and stand-up comedian making his Steel River Playhouse debut. Recently, he caused mayhem in The Play That Goes Wrong, was enchanting in Beauty and the Beast, and preached against dancing in Footloose. His stand-up comedy has taken him from Amish theaters to NYC clubs and everywhere in between. He obviously loves to write about himself in the third person and hopes a Hollywood producer sees this show and makes him an overnight sensation. Instagram: @LangdonJames

Leena Devlin (Director) she/her is thrilled to bring What the Constitution Means to Me to life at Steel River Playhouse. She has worked both onstage and offstage in the local theater community for about a scrillion years. Leena is passionate about stories that elevate underrepresented voices and spark meaningful dialogue. This play is especially close to her heart, and she’s grateful to share it with a community that values truth, change, and the power of live theater.  Dedicated to Madison and Gabriella—may you always know the power of your voices and your worth.

Hannah Windrim (Stage Manager) she/her is ecstatic to be returning to SRP for her 3rd Stage Management production! Past credits include: Annie (Lily St. Regis), Steel Magnolias (Annelle), as well as Charlie Brown (SM) and Legally Blonde (SM). Hannah would like to extend the most heartfelt thanks to her Mom & Dad, Brett, Jake, Bastian & Floyd for their never-ending love and support; to Leena, for absolutely everything; and to the entire Cast and Crew for showing her that, in a world full of ‘distracted dogs’, you can still march onward.

 J. Chernesky (Technical Director/Lighting Design) she/they is proud to be back designing at their hometown playhouse. With nearly fifteen years of technical theatre experience and dozens of designs under their belt theatre is truly their passion. She is proud to be working on such an important piece at a time when the very content of the show is under attack by forces meant to defend it. They feel it is important to remember: Art is a force for change and change is good. As the late legend John Lewis said, “Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and to get in good trouble, necessary trouble.”

Madison Devlin (Sound Design) she/her is a graduate of Montgomery County Community College’s Sound Recording and Music Technology program and provides design, production, and engineering work all over the greater Philadelphia area. As a Pottstown resident and long time member of the Steel River family, she is honored and excited to be working on another wonderful season here on High Street! She would like to thank all of the many role models for both sound and general tech that she has met over the years, all of which have contributed to her success – after all, she is the sum of everyone who has ever invested in her. It is her greatest joy to give those gifts back to the community, however she can.
