Elliott Terry is thrilled to participate in her second main stage production at Steel River Playhouse! In her free time Elliott can be found training in dance, voice, theater, and film. Lisa Hendricks is ecstatic to bring both Katherine and Ellie Blake to life on the Steel River Stage. She is no stranger to the theater, having previously acted and directed throughout the years. Some of her favorite roles include Mrs Webb in Our Town, Agatha Trunchbull in Matilda, M’Lynn in Steel Magnolias and Scuttle in The Little Mermaid. Much love to Ben and her own happy little family.

Owen Penrose
Fletcher Blake (Angry Bob, Caspian)
Hi I’m Owen Penrose, I am in the seventh grade at Pottsgrove Middle School. I am incredibly proud and excited to be Fletcher in this amazing show with this talented cast and crew. Some of my favorite previous roles in my experience were Oliver in Oliver!, Mayor of Munchkinland in The Wizard of Oz, King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland Jr, young Alfred in Alice by Heart, and many more. I would like to thank my parents for their love and support, I would also like to thank my cousin, another talented actor, for inspiring my path into theater, my sister also told me to thank her since she comes to all my shows so thanks to her too I guess.

Steve Carrasco (Mike/Dr. Ehrin) is excited to be working at Steel River once again and is grateful to the staff for the opportunity to be a part of such a fun show. He was previously seen at Steel River in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Jaques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris and the much more shortly titled Intimate Apparel. He has also recently appeared at Facetime and Methacton community theatres. Enjoy the show!

Brynn Washbourne

Brynn Washbourne (Torrey/Adam’s Mom) is thrilled to be returning to Steel River Playhouse after 7 years! Her first production here was To Kill A Mockingbird as Scout. Since then she has performed in many high school productions at Villa Maria Academy; some roles including Velma in Chicago, Maria in Sound of Music, and Cinderella in Into the Woods. She is currently in her first year at DeSales University studying Musical Theatre with a minor in marketing. Enjoy the show 🙂

Kate Hendricks

Kate Hendricks is thrilled to return to the Steel River stage! Kate has performed in many shows at Steel River. Some of her favorite roles include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Jr, a Hotbox Dancer in Guys and Dolls, and most recently Mayzie in Seussical Jr. She would like to thank her mom Lisa who’s playing Katherine. She loves sharing the stage with her mom. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for making this show such a fun and positive place to be!

Addison Hansen
Hannah/Dance Captain
Addison Hansen (Hannah/Dance Captain) is so excited to return to SRP for her second mainstage production! Previous credits include Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Girl/Featured Dancer), Bellboy (Titanic), Aunt Henrietta (Wizard of Oz), Featured Dancer/Bambi u/s (Curtains), and Twin #1 (Tinkerbell). Offstage, she is involved in 3 of the choirs at her high school and occasionally runs the light program at Facetime Theater. She would like to thank the entire cast and crew for their endless hard work. Break a leg!

Thomas King

Thomas is excited to be in his sixth musical as Adam in Freaky Friday at Steel River Playhouse! His notable previous roles have been Jack Kelly in Newsies Jr. and Master of Ceremonies in Guys and Dolls. He has had a great time bringing this role to life on stage and he’s so excited to share this story with you, so strap in and welcome to Freaky Friday!

Natalia Jones

This is Natalia’s fourth show and her first at Steel River. She played Janis Ian in Mean Girls Jr, an ensemble member in Addams Family Young @ Part, and the role of Claire in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Natalia is so excited to continue her theater journey and is grateful for the opportunities she’s been given, the fun roles played, the awesome productions she’s been part of, and for the new friendships and relationships made!

Josh Steiner
Parker/Louis
Josh is extremely excited for his first performance at Steel River! Though this is his first show at Steel River Playhouse, he is no stranger to the stage. Josh has been participating in musical theatre for over eight years! He was most recently seen as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors at Methacton High School. During his summers, Josh attends Stagedoor Manor, a Broadway intensive camp in New York. He would like to thank his family for their constant support.

Braydon Thompson
Wells
Braydon is very excited to be casted as Wells. HIs previous theater experiences include: Captain (Anything Goes), Louis (Freaky Friday), Ensemble (Newsies Jr.), and Wickersham Brother (Seussical Jr.). Braydon’s favorite part of musicals is meeting new people. He would like to thank his family, friends, and voice teacher for their support. Thank you to the Steel River crew for making all of this possible. Braydon is excited for everyone to come to the show!

Sophia Kogay

Sophia is so excited for her second show at Steel River! She is a sophomore at Conestoga High School and aside from theater she loves to do ballroom dance and sew. Some of her favorite credits include Sandy in Spongebob (Devon Prep), Dance Captain in Mean Girls (Uptown), and Dancer in Once Upon a Mattress (Conestoga High School). Sophia would like to thank her family and her voice teacher, Monica, for being so supportive. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Kiera Phillips
Grandma Helene/Mrs. Luckenbill/Mrs. Time/Gretchen’s Mom
Kiera is pleased to make her debut at Steel River Playhouse in Freaky Friday. Kiera has previously performed in many musicals in theaters around the area! A few of her favorites being; Beauty and the Beast (Mrs. Potts), Brigadoon (Fiona), Oliver (Nancy), and Little Shop of Horrors (Interviewer/Ensemble). Outside of the theater Kiera enjoys being a mom of 2 wonderful kids, directing children’s musicals, and teaching 4th grade!

Clem Mirto
Grandpa Gordon/Mr. Blumen/Señor O’Brien/Parker’s Dad
Clem Mirto – is just as pleased as punch to be back on Steel River’s stage. He has been involved, behind the scenes, in many productions here and was last seen onstage as Santa in Elf. This is his “one billionth” (hyperbole alert!!) production undertaken in conjunction with Wendy, his wife of nearly 32 years (no hyperbole!). But seriously, she is a fabulous director with amazing vision and dedication to the craft which fosters an environment of teamwork and trust between actor and director. You are going to be absolutely floored by this production, guaranteed!!!

Jessica Handler

Jessica is so excited to take on another exciting role on the SRP stage. She appeared most recently in Beehive! a 60s Musical and Mary Poppins (Mrs. Brill) both at SRP. Jessica is incredibly grateful for the support of her husband, kids, friends, & family. Special thanks to the directors, cast, production crew, stage managers, and design team for this fun opportunity to bring such an intense gym teacher to life!

Freaky Friday is my first mainstage here at Steel River and I’m so happy to have gotten the opportunity. I was last seen in Alice in Wonderland Jr as the White Rabbit.
